Maple Gold Mining CEO unveils promising assay results from Douay gold project

–News Direct–

Maple Gold Mines CEO Matthew Hornor discusses the positive results of the first phase of deep drilling at the Douay Gold Project in Qubec with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion.

Hornor explained that the objective of this phase was to understand the geology at depth within a 12 square kilometer area. The results confirmed the presence of a deeper structure with the potential for a significant gold project.

With only five holes drilled, the discovery points to a promising mineralization continuity up to four times deeper than the current resource definition. Hornor anticipated improved results in subsequent phases, collaborating with partner Agnico Eagle.

The next step involves refining the search area using daughter holes to efficiently explore thicker mineralized sections. Drilling is expected to resume later this year.

Hornor said the addition of Josh Pelletier, a seasoned structural geologist, as the new chief geologist enhances the team's ability to understand the project's magnitude.

Despite market challenges, Maple Gold Mines remains dedicated to uncovering this potentially massive gold system.
