Real Madrid target signing of Spain international

Real Madrid have recognized Villarreal defender and Spain international Pau Torres as a summer transfer target, as per Spanish radio station Cadena Cope.

Torres has become a mainstay in the heart of the Villarreal defence, causing them to a top five completion last season and to a great beginning to the momentum campaign, close by winning seven caps for the Spanish national team.

It proceeds with a sharp ascent to noticeable quality for the central defender, who broke onto the scene in the 2018/19 campaign when he featured on a loan spell at second level Malaga.

The report claims that Torres has a release clause of €50m at the Yellow Submarine yet Madrid trust it is conceivable to cut this valuation in half to finish up a deal.

The most recent Real Madrid transfer news comes in the midst of speculation over the future of captain and talismanic central defender Sergio Ramos, who is out of agreement this mid year.

Raphael Varane, Nacho Fernandez and Eder Militao are the other central defenders at the club.
