David Johnson sidelined again for Texans against the Chicago Bears

The Houston Texans set running back David Johnson on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, which means he will miss Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

Johnson, who got back to the dynamic list for Week 13 in the wake of missing three games on harmed save with a blackout, didn’t rehearse Thursday because of what break mentor Romeo Crennel called “a personal issue.”

Duke Johnson was restricted by and by Thursday with an ailment yet was a full member Friday. He took over for David Johnson in the three games he missed on IR and will do likewise with him sidelined now.

In nine games this season, David Johnson has run for 452 yards and four touchdowns on 113 carries. Houston procured Johnson as part of the trade that sent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona in March.
