Google defers re-visitation of office to September 2021, eyes ‘flexible work week’

Alphabet’s Google will permit its representatives to work from home until September one year from now, stretching out the re-visitation of the office by a few months, the New York Times provided details regarding Monday (Dec 14).

The organization was additionally testing the idea of a “flexible work week” when it is protected to re-visitation of the office, CEO Sundar Pichai told the organization’s staff in an email on Sunday, as per the report.

As a feature of the plan, Google’s representatives would be relied upon to work at least three days every week in the office while working from home different days, the paper report said.

“We are testing a hypothesis that a flexible work model will lead to greater productivity, collaboration, and well-being,” Pichai wrote in the email.

Google was one of the primary organizations to request that its representatives work from home because of the pandemic. It has recently postponed the circumstance by when the workers should re-visitation of the office from January one year from now to July.
